A CBC test, also called a Hemogram, is a common blood test that measures key components of blood such as red blood cells, white blood cells, haemoglobin, and platelets. Doctors often recommend a CBC to assess overall health, investigate symptoms like fatigue or fever, monitor infections, or check for anaemia and other blood-related conditions. No fasting is usually required unless combined with other tests.
